1. What's inside the box?
Every Afterglow pack contains 4 mini-packs (larger bundles also include an Extension Pack). Each one holds a specific combination of nutrients timed to its biological window. Together they cover neurochemical priming, mitochondrial protection, sleep recovery, and serotonin and cognitive rebound the following day.
2. What problems does it actually solve?
Oxidative cell damage: NAC rebuilds glutathione. CoQ10 and Resveratrol protect your cell membranes before damage sets in.
Mitochondrial burnout: Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR) refuels your mitochondria and gets cellular energy production back online.
Serotonin depletion: L-Tryptophan is the raw material your brain uses to make serotonin. It helps stabilise mood and emotional balance the day after.
Broken sleep: Melatonin resets your sleep cycle. L-Theanine settles your nervous system without knocking you out. The result is actually falling asleep and staying there.
Brain fog and scattered focus: Phosphatidylserine brings cortisol down and sharpens cognition. Omega-3 stabilise mood and help the brain function clearly again.
Muscle tension and dehydration: Magnesium Bisglycinate relaxes muscles and eases jaw clenching. Electrolytes restore hydration and keep your nerves firing properly.
3. How do I actually take the 4 Steps?
2 – 6 hours before your session
Take Mini pack 1 with food + water. Rest, hydrate, eat light, set intention.
At the beginning of your session
Take Mini pack 2 with water. Hydrate steadily, stay present, avoid extras.
Before you go to sleep
Take Mini pack 3. Wind down, dim lights, avoid screens.
24+ hours after the 3rd Minipack
Take Mini pack 4 for recovery. Rest, rehydrate, reflect, ease back in.
Note: It’s important not to use this pack before the others, or before the 24 hour mark.
4. Why is timing (4 Steps) so important in brain protection?
Antioxidants and mitochondrial support need to be in your system when oxidative stress is at its peak, not once it’s already done its damage. Serotonin precursors are only relevant after the initial neurochemical activity has settled. Melatonin only works if it’s taken before you try to sleep. Afterglow is a protocol because the timing is the point, not a nice extra.
5. What if I forget to take one of the Afterglow mini packs?
Afterglow was designed with intention. Each pack supports a specific phase for a reason. If you miss a dose, don’t stack or guess. Take it as planned, or simply skip it.
This isn’t about rigid rules, but about respecting the rhythm your body actually benefits from. Timing matters here.
6. What kind of improvement can I realistically expect?
You should not feel a severe comedown:
Crash severity is typically ~50-70% lower when oxidative and mitochondrial stress are buffered.
Full recovery to baseline tends to feel more like 7-9 days than 10-14 days.
Sleep quality score over the first three nights improves from roughly 45-55/100 to about 70-80/100 when Mini pack 3 is used.
7. Is it safe to combine Afterglow with my medications?
Many ingredients (vitamins, magnesium, antioxidants) are widely used, but interactions are possible especially if you take SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, mood stabilizers, or other serotonergic drugs.
